ROBBERY ATTACKS FORCE NEW SEBREPOR RESIDENTS TO BUILD POLICE POST
Residents at New Sebrepor in the Kpone-Katamanso District believe security in their area will improve after commissioning a police post.
The residents who have been terrorized by armed robbers over the years say the presence of Police will help end attacks on them.
The Police station was a collaborative effort of the MP for Afadjato South, Joseph Amenewode, Greater Regional Minister and Kpone Katamanso MP, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo.
Member of Parliament for Afadjato South, Joseph Amenewode who is also a resident has been attacked six times within a short period, raising security concerns.
President of the New Sebrepor Landlords and Residents Association, Vivian Addo-Bempong tells Adom News that a Dutch national was recently killed by robbers.
Kpone-Katamanso District Assembly, Tema Regional Police Command and residents assisted in diverse ways in putting up the station.
Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo is urging residents to be the ears and eyes of the Police.
