COMMISSION DISTRIBUTES CONDOMS TO REDUCE INFECTIONS
The Ghana Aids Commission
in the Eastern Region has embarking on ambitious campaign of reaching some five
thousand (5000) holiday makers at Kwahu Easter
to run free voluntary HIV test on
them.
The Commission is expected to deploy about 80 health workers
to embark on free testing and counseling to prevent new infections and also
distribute condoms to participant of this year Kwahu Festival.
The Eastern Regional Focal Point Officer of Ghana Aids
Commission Golda Asante said the commission will deploy about four strategies
to ensure effective campaign on reducing new infections.
