TEACHERS ATTACKED FOR TALKING TO SCHOOL GIRLS

Teachers of Offinso Adegya D.A Basic School in the Atwema Nkwabiagya constituency in the Ashanti region where attacked by some youth of Adegya town for daring to talk to a female student of the school.

Some youth attacked the teachers last week for talking to talk to a female student at a late hour.

The attack lead the district education office to the town today with the intent to close down Adegya D.A Basic School.

Yaw Owusu Ansah, Okyeame of the town condemned the act but calls on the district education not to close down the school as it will affect the school childre

Headmaster of the school, Karikari Cromwell says the education office has decided to close down the school for two weeks so the teachers who were attacked can be relocated to safe place.

The case has been reported to the Barikese Police station.
