NCCE WORK
TO RESTORE LOST GHANAIAN VALUES IN CHILDREN
The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has
begun educational tours in the districts to restore lost Ghanaian values in
children.
The high levels of disrespect, laziness and lack of
patriotism among the youth are reasons gingering the NCCE to be on its toes for
this project.
Earlier on Mothers’ Day, former First lady, Nana
Konadu Agyeman Rawlings also bemoaned the fading values of the youth calling
for proper training at homes.
The Awutu Senya West District Director of the
NCCE Andrews Ofori Larbie explained that they are embarking on this exercise to
ensure that Ghanaian children gain confident in their culture and the need to
adore them.
